Heat resistance of 04Cr17Ni12Mo2 stainless steel bar has good oxidation resistance in intermittent use below 871°C (1600°F) and continuous use above 927°C (1700°F). Its main applications are heat exchangers for equipment used in pulp and paper, dyeing equipment, film processing equipment, pipelines, and materials for the exterior of buildings in coastal areas.
